Supporting NDIS Participants Through Assessment, Therapy & ADHD Coaching
At Cognitive Assessments Australia, we work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants to provide high-quality, neuro-affirming psychological services. Whether you are seeking a comprehensive psychological assessment, ongoing psychological treatment, or ADHD coaching, our team can work within your NDIS plan to deliver personalised support for children, adolescents, and adults.
We understand that navigating the NDIS can feel complex and sometimes overwhelming. Our experienced team is here to make the process as straightforward as possible, from your first enquiry through to assessment, therapy, coaching, and ongoing support. We take an evidence-based, person-centred approach and tailor our recommendations and services to each individual's strengths, needs, and goals.
Who We Help
Children
We support children who may be experiencing learning, behavioural, emotional, social, or developmental challenges. Our assessments and therapy services help families better understand their child's strengths, needs, and support requirements.
Adults
We work with adults seeking psychological support, cognitive assessments, ADHD assessments, and ADHD coaching. Our services are tailored to each individual's needs and focus on improving wellbeing, daily functioning, and quality of life.
Adolescents
The teenage years can bring unique challenges related to learning, emotional wellbeing, attention, behaviour, and identity. We provide assessments, psychological treatment, and ADHD coaching to help adolescents build confidence, develop skills, and achieve their goals.
Support Coordinators & Referrers
We regularly work alongside support coordinators, allied health professionals, educators, and other referrers to provide evidence-based assessments, recommendations, and psychological support. Our collaborative approach helps ensure participants receive coordinated and meaningful care aligned with their NDIS goals.
We provide NDIS psychology services, assessments, and ADHD coaching for individuals across different stages of life. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or someone you support professionally, our team is here to help.
What Services Are Available Under the NDIS?
Yes. A substantial and growing body of research supports the effectiveness of Telehealth-delivered psychological services for both assessment and therapy. Many of our clients find that attending from a familiar environment actually supports the therapeutic process, particularly for anxious individuals, neurodivergent clients, and children who benefit from being in a comfortable, known space.
Evidence-Based Online Psychological Care
At Cognitive Assessments Australia, our Telehealth services are guided by evidence-based practice, current research, and established clinical standards. We use the same professional approach, assessment frameworks, and clinical best practices that underpin our in-person services.
Telehealth assessments use the same gold-standard tools and clinical processes as our in-person assessments. The quality, thoroughness, and clinical rigour are equivalent in every respect. Our clinicians will always consider whether Telehealth is appropriate for your individual circumstances and recommend the approach that best supports your needs.
What Services Are Available Under the NDIS?

Therapy is tailored to each participant's strengths, goals, and needs to build confidence, resilience, and everyday wellbeing.

Improved Daily Living (Capacity Building – Support Category 15)
This is the most common funding category used for psychology services under the NDIS. It may be used for psychological assessments, psychological treatment, and other capacity-building supports that help participants develop skills, improve wellbeing, and work towards their NDIS goals.
Line Item: 15_054_0128_1_3
Current Rate: $232.99 per hour
Core Supports (Support Category 01)
In some situations, Core Supports funding may be used for psychology services, depending on the goals, supports, and funding arrangements outlined within a participant's NDIS plan. If you are unsure which funding category applies to you, our team can discuss your plan and help determine the most suitable funding pathway. All invoices are provided with the correct NDIS line item codes and are GST-free.
