Our Team.
Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
At Cognitive Assessments Australia, our team brings together clinicians who genuinely care about the people they work with, about making a meaningful difference, and about the quality of care they provide.

We are a group of experienced, passionate, and neuro-affirming psychologists united by a shared belief: that every person deserves to understand their own mind, and to receive support that truly fits who they are. Whether we are conducting a comprehensive assessment, delivering therapy, or providing ADHD coaching, we approach every client with curiosity, warmth, and the highest standard of professional care.
Founder and Clinical Psychologist

Kerrin Danswan
Kerrin founded Cognitive Assessments Australia with a clear purpose - to create a practice where every person who walks through the door feels genuinely understood, not just assessed.

With over a decade of experience as a Clinical Psychologist, Kerrin has worked across diverse settings including private practice, government, and forensic psychology, giving her a depth of insight that few clinicians can match. She brings that breadth of experience to every client she works with, whether she is supporting a young child navigating school difficulties or an adult finally seeking answers after years of uncertainty.
Alongside her assessment work, Kerrin has a deep passion for psychological therapy. She works with adolescents and adults across a wide range of presentations, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional dysregulation, and the unique challenges that come with being neurodivergent in a world not always designed for you. Her therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and deeply human - she meets every client exactly where they are.

Kerrin is committed to neuro-affirming practice in everything she does. She believes that understanding how a person's brain work and communicating that clearly and compassionately can be genuinely life-changing.

Please note that Kerrin is not currently taking on new clients. We warmly invite you to meet our wonderful team, all of whom share Kerrin's commitment to exceptional, neuro-affirming care.
